Infrastructure and Safety Claims

The consortium aims to identify all claims that have been made in relation to the effect that changes to the heavy vehicle weights and dimensions regulations will have on the safety and infrastructure performance of the new vehicles. The claims can relate to either better or worse performance. We have been through a brief initial exercise within the consortium to identify these claims but we want the results of the work to be considered more achieved. For this reason, we would like stakeholders to add any new claims to those already identified in the relevant spreadsheet or to add new information sources and comments to those already identified. At this stage, it does not matter whether or not you consider the claim to be true or valid, the idea is to capture everything and for the project to at least consider the merits of each (though resource constraints may prevent in-depth analysis of all, depending on the eventual numbers). However, if you are aware of robust evidence supporting the claim or contradicting it we would be grateful if this could be identified or provided to us.
